The statement of Krafton
Krafton who is the producer and creator of BGMI and BGMI, released an official statement regarding the issue on the 30th of July, 2023. The statement emphasized its South Korean game company’s commitment to the Indian Market, while it stressed the importance of developing partnerships and improving the esports industry.
The chief executive officer of Krafton India, Sean Hyunil Sohn has also denied any accusations of improper handling the process of collecting user data because the importance of privacy and security was highlighted in the document. In addition, Krafton also mentioned its compliance with government regulation and laws regarding data security.
The statement also referred to the efforts of Krafton to contact authorities in charge to solve the issue and remove his ban from Battlegrounds Mobile India.
